Dear Community,
During these extraordinary times, as we as a ride out the Covid 19 pandemic, many of you have stocked your pantries for an extended stay at home. One thing to consider is how many resilience tools you have tucked away.
As human beings, we are hard-wired to connect, so for some, social isolation can be more than difficult. For others who are experiencing loss of family, friends, employment and businesses it can be devastating.
In the face of this pandemic, many are experiencing confusion, fear, anxiety, anger, overwhelm, depression and uneasiness. What can we do?
Meditation can help.
Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation is a short, free, online course that offers participants an opportunity to understand, experience and clarify their questions regarding mindfulness meditation. It can help you navigate the difficulties and uncertainties you may be encountering during this time.
This free course is open to the community and each 60-minute class includes a didactic teaching, meditation practice and a question and answer period. In order to participate, we ask that you commit to attending all four session. To register, please email Tammy at tammyladrew@gmail.com. Whether you are new to meditation or just want a refresher and/or to connect, all are welcome.
Please note the course instruction will be conducted in English.
